Lawfield advises Lester Group on acquisition of two industrial properties

Lawfield is pleased to have advised the Lester Group on its recent successful acquisition of two industrial
properties in Forrestfield and Bibra Lake which were purchased for a combined $19.15 million.

Lawfield advised the Lester Group by conducting the legal due diligence on the title and lease of both properties, preparing and advising on the Contracts for Sale, and acting in the settlement of both properties on behalf of the Lester Group.

883 Abernethy Road, Forrestfield, was acquired for $12.3 million in late June and is a transport and logistics facility leased to a subsidiary of ASX-listed Boart Longyear.
2 Discovery Drive, Bibra Lake, was acquired for $6.85 million in mid-July and is a cold storage and distribution facility leased to Top Cut Foods.

The Lawfield team was led by Stephen Hicks (Principal) and Graham Spencer (Solicitor).

These two recent acquisitions follow the Lester Group’s acquisition of 7 Ashby Close, Forrestfield for $20.5 million last year, which Lawfield also advised on.
